Comparison of Room Capacity to Course Enrollment
This chart shows
Rickes Associates' comparison of the numbers and sizes of Brandeis classrooms
with the number of classes with various ranges of enrollments. This chart
shows that 80% of Brandeis classes enrolled thirty or fewer students. Yet
only 32% of classrooms are currently appropriately sized for 30 or fewer
students. Twenty-one percent of all classes enrolled ten or fewer
students, yet there are currently no seminar rooms. In many cases,
currently, small classes occupy classrooms too large for the number of students.
