Brandeis Theater Co. kicks off 'Cabaret'

Performances run Thursday through Sunday

The Brandeis Theater Company kicks off its production of "Cabaret" tonight in the Spingold Theater. The show runs through Sunday.

This hit Broadway musical is set in Berlin at the dawn of the 1930s draws together residents and visitors alike at the Kit Kat Klub. A young American writer becomes infatuated with the decadence of the cabaret and one of its singers. They fall in love as horrors rage around them, and he grows determined to leave that world behind but struggles with the prospect of losing her.
