Severe weather updates

When there is a forecast of severe weather, a university response team meets regularly to review forecasts and facilities information and to coordinate with local government, law enforcement, and transportation officials. Our primary goal is the safety of our students, faculty, and staff members. Every effort is made to be open without compromising that safety. While decisions are made earlier when sufficient data is available, the university seeks to make a final decision on closure or delay no later than 5:30 am to leave time for commuters to adjust schedules.
