A look at what's on tap for senior week

Brandeis seniors, having just completed four years of classes, studying and exams, are invited to partake in Senior Week festivities and unwind before commencement on May 21.

Here is a rundown of some of the event and activities featured in this year's Senior Week:

Friday, May 12

Get Your Wristband! (10 a.m. – 4 p.m., Shapiro Campus Center Atrium)

Bring your purchased Senior Week pass and Brandeis ID to the SCC Atrium to get a wristband for the week! Remember to keep your wristband on throughout senior week.

Saturday, May 13

A Night in Technicolor (10 p.m. – 1:00 a.m., location TBD)

Bond with your friends at a black light party inside the science center. There will be black light paint, as well as fresh air at an oxygen bar. Also indulge in some liquid nitrogen ice cream and dip to your heart’s desire at the chocolate fountain. And, drinks are on the house. This is a party you don’t want to miss.

Sunday, May 14

Club Night at Lucky Strike in Jillian’s of Boston (Board bus in T Lot at 9:15 p.m.)

Time to get off campus, and there’s nothing better than Lucky Strike! Nestled next to Fenway Park, enjoy dancing to the beats of a popular Boston DJ, a bowling alley, and a billiards room. Cash bar will be available, please bring Brandeis and other official form of ID. This event is 21+.

Monday, May 15 – Wednesday, May 17

11th Annual Kickball Tournament

Senior Week and the Department of Athletics present the Eleventh Annual Senior Intramural Kickball Tournament! Form a team with your friends and take on others teams to try to make it to the championships! You will be able to register from Wednesday, April 26 until Wednesday, May 10.

The tournament will be played on Monday, May 15, 1 p.m.–6 p.m., Tuesday, May 16, noon–6 p.m., and Wednesday, May 17, 6 p.m.-10 p.m. on the Athletic Fields. A barbecue will take place from 6 p.m. 10 p.m. on Wednesday, May 17.

Thursday, May 18

Commencement Rehearsal (1:00pm-2:00pm, Gosman Arena)

Find out how the main Commencement Ceremony will work and get the answers to all of your Commencement questions. Then join your class on the grass for a Senior Class photo. You will have the chance to receive a copy of the photo during the summer through Institutional Advancement.

Boston Harbor Cruise (Busses leave Brandeis at 7:30 p.m. and leave Boston at 12 a.m.)

Enjoy one last night with all the friends you made here at Brandeis on the beautiful Boston Harbor. There is a snack bar and cash bar on board. Bring Brandeis ID and state ID.

Friday, May 19

Shangela’s House Party
 (10 p.m. to 1 a.m., Levin Ballroom)

Come dance with the one and only Queen Shangela from RuPaul’s Drag Race at the party to end all parties. The first 125 people in line will receive an LED color bracelet that will match the beat of the music and keep you dancing all night long. There will be free beer and cider, and shuttle service from Mods, Charles River, and Admissions to Levin.
