Nabil Ata Live Oud Performance

Born in Lebanon, Nabil Ata has lived in Massachusetts since 1973 where he works on preserving and reviving classical forms of Arabic singing, such as “Almouwashahaat” and “Aladwaar.” In 1997, Nabil founded the Tarab Chorus, an eclectic, Boston-based choir focusing on classical Arabic music. Nabil has performed as an oud player and vocalist, both as a soloist and with Middle Eastern ensembles in North America. Learn more about Nabil here.
