Continuing Education

Active BEMCo members are required to attend a minimum of three continuing education (CE) classes each semester.

 Examples of CE classes we hold include:

-Call Review

-Pediatric Emergencies

-Drug/Alcohol Intoxication

-Verbal Communication 

-LGBTQ+ 

-Infection Control

-Gynecological Emergencies

-Gunshot Wounds and other Traumatic Injuries

How to join BEMCo

If you are an EMT in another state

You must have a valid EMT certification in Massachusetts in order to join BEMCo.

If you are certified in another state, it is possible to obtain reciprocity in Massachusetts. To do so, download the instructions found here.


BEMCo is student staffed and student run. To join BEMCo you must be a Brandeis University undergraduate student.
