District A
Jane Theriault
I have been a graduate student, faculty member, and staff member over my years at Brandeis, which gives me a unique viewpoint and will assist in making decisions. In this role, I would like to advocate for my peers by making connections across the university and giving a voice to staff concerns. I'd also like to learn from those connections I make, and to bring that knowledge back to the district.
District B
Kapik Yeung
If selected as a BUSAC representative for District B, I would do my best prioritizing inclusivity and advocacy to better our work environment. I would bring my peers' concerns and feedback to ensure they are heard, and gather further input for continuous improvement of our staff community. I am grateful for Brittani's leadership of District B on BUSAC, and if elected I hope to continue her advocacy for all staff.
Brittani Niquette
The Business School has typically felt a bit separate from the University, which has been both a blessing (autonomy) and a curse (often a lack of centralized info). Staff are feeling understandably worried and knowledge is power - as BUSAC rep I can continue to share that with my district and give us back some power, as well as continue the streak of "wins" I've been a part of. I believe that now, more than ever, it's deeply important to support and uplift staff to truly make Brandeis ultimately a better and healthier place to work at since we spend so much of our lives here.
District C
Calla Mattox
As one of your current District C co-representatives, I hope to have the opportunity to continue to listen to your needs and advocate for you with Brandeis administration, especially during this time of a lot of change and uncertainty on campus. I will also continue to advocate for staff inclusion in and better communication about the campus decisions that affect us.
District F (2 seats open)
Gail Jordan
I have been a staff member for the last 11 years. I have enjoyed serving on BUSAC and would like to continue to serve.
District G
Stacey Winkler
It's been a great honor, and great fun, to have represented Institutional Advancement on BUSAC this past year and I would very much welcome the opportunity to continue my role! I enjoy my work on the committee as we advocate for our staff, support each other, and help steer the university toward an exciting future. I thank you for your support and it is my hope that I may remain as a liaison on behalf of IA for this coming year, communicating our needs, and our achievements, moving forward.
District H
Lisa DeNicola
It has been a privilege to contribute to the committee’s efforts over the past two years, and I would be honored to continue supporting the work we’ve started.
During my time on the committee, I’ve appreciated the opportunity to collaborate with colleagues, listen to staff concerns, and help implement initiatives aimed at improving our workplace. I remain committed to fostering open communication, inclusivity, and positive change, and I believe there is still more I can contribute in a second term.

District K
Jay Chen
As a first-generation immigrant from Taiwan, I understand the importance of ensuring diverse voices are heard. I will represent my peers by advocating for inclusivity, fostering understanding, and share their experiences and perspectives.
Patrick Gethin
Having been at Brandeis for the last 8 years, I would like to become more active in the community and hopefully help to be a mouthpiece for the needs of my colleagues
Marren Sanders
As a long-time staff member, I have witnessed firsthand the impact of policies on staff morale, engagement, and professional development. BUSAC provides valuable staff perspective to administration, and I believe my experiences as a program director and former professor provide me with a unique perspective on the challenges and opportunities we face. I would bring my experience in leadership, advocacy, and communication to BUSAC, with the goal of fostering collaboration and driving meaningful change that benefits all staff across the Brandeis Community.
Aimee Slater
Big changes are coming that affect staff, and we need to be sure we're at the table when these decisions are made. I have served before, and I want to serve again as I think this committee is crucial to making sure staff interest is represented during the next phase of Brandeis. I will absolutely keep the lines of communication open to ensure District K is informed about what is coming down the pike and report our questions, concerns, and feedback to university administration without hesitation. I am a librarian, information is my jam.
Sean Walley
I am in my 20th year of work at Brandeis, and I've been enjoying the benefits of the work of BUSAC for years. What kind of freeloader am I? Would it kill me to give back to the community and join BUSAC?
