Students who are majors or minors in music, fine arts, theater arts, or CAST; graduate students in fine arts and music; and faculty and staff in the Division of Creative Arts have free admission to the ICA Boston.
For free entry to the Gardner Museum, you will need a current Division of Creative Arts sticker, available from your major or minor's department administrator. Put the sticker on the back of your Brandeis ID (don't cover up the bar code). Please present your e-ticket and a valid Brandeis ID with the Division of Creative Arts sticker when you arrive. University member tickets cannot be honored without a valid Brandeis ID.
Built in the style of a 15th-century Venetian palace, the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum houses a stunning collection of European, Asian and American art and furnishings. As members of the University Membership program, you receive ONE free general admission ticket per visit. At this time, advance tickets are required for entry and can be reserved online at gardnermuseum.org/visit. To reserve a ticket:
- Go to the event ticket page.
- Apply promo code BRANDEISART (If you wait until checkout to apply the code, the price will not change if the ticket is already in the basket.)
- Hit "submit."
- Choose your date and time.
- Add Student (or Adult ticket for faculty/staff) ticket to the cart — only one per ticket order.
- Log in or create an account.
- Continue to "check out."
- --> You will see the ticket price go to $0 in your cart.

The Gardner, located in Boston's Fenway, is easily accessible by bus and subway. Take the Green Line E train to the Museum of Fine Arts stop, or the Orange Line train to the Ruggles stop. Students: take the free Brandeis shuttle to Mass Ave and Marlborough (Boston), then walk to the Gardner or take the MBTA Green Line (Hynes Convention Center stop) to the MFA stop and walk.
