Division of Creative Arts

The Museum of Fine Arts' renowned collection of nearly 500,000 works showcases ancient artistry and modern masterpieces, local legends and global visionaries. Admission is free for all Brandeis undergraduates.

Just show your valid Brandeis ID at the visitor desk for free general admission. Tickets for special exhibitions can be purchased for $7.

Students: take the free Brandeis shuttle to Mass Ave and Marlborough (Boston), then walk to the MFA or take the MBTA Green Line (Hynes Convention Center stop) to the Museum of Fine Arts stop. Map and directions.

Students who are majors or minors in music, fine arts, theater arts, or CAST; graduate students in fine arts and music; and faculty and staff in the Division of Creative Arts have free admission to the ICA Boston.

The ICA, located on the Boston waterfront, presents contemporary visual art exhibitions, music, film, video, and performance.

For free entry to the ICA you will need a current Division of Creative Arts sticker, available from your major or minor's department administrator. Put the sticker on the back of your Brandeis ID (don't cover up the bar code). Please present your university ID when you check in at the ICA. University member tickets cannot be honored without a valid ID.

Timed tickets are required for all visitors, including University Members. To reserve a ticket:

1. Use the link at the top of the ICA's university page. Enter promo code BCA2024ICA in the top right corner of the page and press submit.
2. Select the date and time of your visit.
3. Select University Member ticket and complete the checkout process.

Located on Boston Harbor in the city’s dynamic Seaport district, the ICA is within walking distance from South Station and is easily accessible by public transportation, car, bike, or water taxi. Students: take the free Brandeis shuttle to Harvard Square, then take the MBTA Red Line to South Station. Directions and parking.

Built in the style of a 15th-century Venetian palace, the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum houses a stunning collection of European, Asian and American art and furnishings. As members of the University Membership program, you receive ONE free general admission ticket per visit. At this time, advance tickets are required for entry and can be reserved online at gardnermuseum.org/visit. To reserve a ticket:

1. Go to the event ticket page.
2. Apply promo code BRANDEISART (If you wait until checkout to apply the code, the price will not change if the ticket is already in the basket.)
3. Hit "submit."
4. Choose your date and time.
5. Add Student (or Adult ticket for faculty/staff) ticket to the cart — only one per ticket order.
6. Log in or create an account.
7. Continue to "check out."
8. --> You will see the ticket price go to $0 in your cart.

The Gardner, located in Boston's Fenway, is easily accessible by bus and subway. Take the Green Line E train to the Museum of Fine Arts stop, or the Orange Line train to the Ruggles stop.
