The Office of Access and Excellence is committed to providing accessible resources, education, and support to foster a campus environment where all members of our community feel valued, respected, and included. We believe in empowering individuals from all backgrounds to develop their full potential as global citizens needed to repair the world.

We aspire to:

  • Educate and empower the community through workshops and professional development, programming, and engagement;
  • Provide supportive services and resources through referrals and consultations;
  • Cultivate an environment of respect and connection by providing spaces for civil discourse and opportunities to learn with and from one another.

What We Do

The Office of Access and Excellence works collaboratively with our campus community to assess and support its strengths and needs in an effort to build high-quality programming that evokes social change.

Strategies, processes, and initiatives that further institutional diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging outcomes are creative and flexible. While it is essential that there be a unifying strategic thread that links all campus departments, outcomes and processes related to access and excellence are developed based on the particular strengths and needs of individual academic, professional and social campus communities.
