MSBA Program Options

16 Months

Students begin their studies in late August and finish the following December.

12 Months

Students begin their studies in late August, and may accelerate the program by adding a summer term.

Dual Degrees

Graduate and undergraduate dual degrees are available for students admitted to Brandeis University. Dual degrees allow students to complete two degrees with less credits than are required to earn each degree independently. Learn more.


Students may pursue the MSBA program on a part-time basis. Part-time students typically complete eight credits per semester. The part-time status is optimal for students who have flexible schedules as courses are held throughout the day. Students can finish the part-time MSBA program in 2-3 years (taking 4-5 classes a year).

What You'll Learn

Data Programming & Visualization

Master fundamental technology skills, including: computer programming with Python and R, data visualization utilizing Tableau, data storage and schema design with relational databases, and data retrieval via SQL.

Quantitative Business Analytics

Harness foundational knowledge in probability, statistics, linear algebra, data structures, algorithms and numerical analysis. 

Machine Learning Techniques

Immerse yourself in machine learning techniques at the forefront of business analytics, including: supervised and unsupervised learning, statistics-based prediction techniques, Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Deep Learning.
