Graduate Programs

The International Business School offers five traditional graduate programs and one accelerated graduate program. These programs have been ranked among the best in the world by The Princeton Review, CNN Expansión, the Financial Times, TFE Times and eFinancialCareers. Most program offerings include a STEM designation which enables international students to continue practical training in the U.S. after graduation.

Graduate Programs

Master of Business Administration (MBA)

Flexible, innovative and wide-ranging. Accelerate or transform your career. 2 years.

Master of Arts in International Economics and Finance (MA)

Analytical skills and experience in business, economics and finance. 2 years.

Master of Science in Finance (MSF)

Financial theory, analysis and strategy. 9 or 16 months.

Master of Science in Business Analytics (MSBA)

Intersection of business and big data. In-person and online options. 12 to 20 months.

PhD in International Economics and Finance

Research, teaching, high-level policymaking and consulting.

Accelerated Graduate Program

Accelerated MA

For students who studied economics or business in a U.S. institution within the past five years. 12 or 16 months.

Dual Degrees

Graduate

Students who enroll in the dual degree when admitted to the business school or during their first program are able to complete both degrees with less credits than are required to earn each degree independently.

MA/MBA

96 credits over six semesters.

MSF/MBA

79 credits over four to five semesters.

MSBA/MBA

77 credits over four to five semesters.

MSBA/MA

77 credits over four to five semesters.

MSBA/MSF

67 credits over four to five semesters.

Undergraduate

The International Business School also offers opportunities for undergraduates at Brandeis University and Wellesley College to enhance liberal arts experience with substantial, skills-driven business courses. Brandeis undergraduates may pursue these dual degree programs as an International Business Scholar or by applying during their junior year.

Part-Time Options

Many of our master's degree programs may be pursued on a part-time basis. Part-time students typically complete two classes per semester. The part-time status is optimal for students who have flexible schedules as courses are held throughout the day. Most programs can be completed in 2-3 years.

Special Student

Take classes as a non-degree student. Transfer up to eight credits toward a master's program.

Master's Certificate

This four-course fully online graduate certificate will introduce you to the latest tools, technologies and best practices in healthcare data and analytics. Brandeis Healthcare Analytics Master's Certificate is a collaboration between Brandeis Graduate Professional Studies and Brandeis International Business School.

Healthcare Analytics

To be eligible for the program, you must be currently working in the healthcare industry.

The International Business School offers a major or minor for undergraduates who often pursue a double major in conjunction with a traditional liberal arts major.

The International Business School offers more than 30 core courses and 65 electives each year. Students can pursue concentrations within areas of business, economics and finance that align with their educational and career aspirations.
