Prerequisites: ECON 184a or ECON 213a and BUS 215f.

Offers a general topics course on machine learning tools, and their implementation through Python and Scikit Learn. Students will finish the class with a basic understanding of how to execute predictive analytic algorithms in both cross sectional and time series environments. They will also have a good sense for how to evaluate and test the predictive models. Usually offered every semester.
