The Brandeis IBS Technology Department offers a lecture capture service utilizing the Echo360 technology platform. This service is available in all four of our main classrooms.
Once you have placed a request (see form below), your class will be scheduled to automatically record each session. The recording will consist of:
At the conclusion of the class, the recording will begin processing and typically becomes available for viewing the following day. Please allow up to 36 hours of processing time for longer class sessions.
You will be provided with a link where all of the recordings for a particular class semester will appear. You can share this link on Latte with your students, where they can stream the recording on their computer or mobile device (note: they will need to log in with their Brandeis UNet ID to access the recordings). You will also receive an email when each session is available for viewing.
You will have full control to edit your recordings or make them unavailable for viewing at any time. Please contact Brandeis IBS Technology for requests of this nature.
A sample video is available here.
A brief overview of how to use Echo 360 is available here.
