Klodeta JanaqiWhy did you choose Brandeis International Business School?

As a medium-sized university, Brandeis offers a combination of resources and engagement that a larger school cannot. You feel that you are part of a community that works so that you can succeed. On the other hand, having close relationships with faculty members helps you enhance your skills and interests. Finally, students are smart and kind and, of course, committed to Brandeisian values.

What kind of work or research are you interested in?

Data analytics, with a research focus on telecommunication, biotech, and education under the analytics scope.

What are your career goals?

I have many: creating my own start-up in the analytics field and working in pharma or telecom industry in Europe or the U.S.

What do you enjoy most about being at Brandeis?

I love the spirit and the culture of Brandeis. The sense of belonging to a community that cares for you as your family members is priceless. The alumni network also offers many professional opportunities.

What are you most proud of in your academic or professional life?

My education helped me think critically and passionately about constantly learning new things and improving myself.

What do you want to accomplish at Brandeis before you graduate?

Finish many projects that I have my hands on as research assistant. We are working on a very cool idea. I hope something good comes out of it!

What impact has the Peter Petri Global Fellowship had on your education?

Having someone supporting your studies makes you feel relaxed and focusing more on studies and self improvement.
