I'm a father with two kids and I wanted to bring them to Massachusetts to be educated. I chose Brandeis International Business School because the programs are STEM-designated, meaning that I'll have a three-year OPT period, rather than one year. It's critical for me to have longer legal status to stay in the U.S.
My MBA program is concentrated in Data Analytics and Finance. I'm currently looking for a position as a financial analyst in the greater Boston area. I'm interested in finance and I feel fulfillment when working with numbers to find insights hidden within the data.
My career goal is twofold. First, I have to settle down as a financial analyst and utilize my skills in finance and data analytics. After five years or so, I'm planning to start my own business in real estate. I have working experience in real estate development in China and I really like this industry.
Learning about the most cutting-edge knowledge. I enjoy the financial modeling and engineering, machine learning algorithms, computer simulation and risk management, options and derivatives, fixed incomes and securitization, Python programming and information visualization.
I am proud that I took 20 credits every semester and earned As and Bs for all of them. I really enjoy studying advanced topics in Finance and Data Analytics. I'm proud of these courses because I know not all business schools offer such cuttingedge courses.
“This fellowship helped a lot and meant a lot to me during this difficult time. I'll give back to the community and double or triple the amount to keep the kindness alive among our caring community of donors, professors, alumni and current students.”
