Beth Levine Ain is the author of the “Starring Jules” book series, published by Scholastic. She has two novels in verse forthcoming. Beth lives in Port Washington, New York, with her husband, Jonathan Ain ’95, and two children. Gilat Ben-Dor married Seth Kromholz and is continuing her work as an artist, author and entrepreneur. The couple lives in Scottsdale, Arizona. Jason Caplan is chair of psychiatry at the Creighton University School of Medicine’s campus in Phoenix. He was recently elected president of the Association for Academic Psychiatry, the international organization of psychiatry educators at undergraduate, graduate and postgraduate levels. Ruth Jackson was named vice president for communications at Colby College. As a member of the school’s senior-leadership team, she oversees broad-based communications, including print, Web and social media. She lives in Oakland, Maine, with her husband, Craig, and two children (Anton, 5, and Isaac, 3). Eric Kabakoff and his wife, Chrissie, welcomed a son, Henry Jonathan, on Dec. 11, 2015. He arrived five weeks early. Rachel Korn serves as co-chair of the annual conference of the Association of International Graduate Admissions Consultants, which was held at Harvard and MIT in June. Abigail Michelson Porth, Heller MM’98, was appointed to the Human Rights Commission in San Francisco. She serves as associate executive director of the Jewish Community Relations Council of San Francisco.
