Happy Holidays from Brandeis
Dec. 18, 2024
Dear Brandeis Community:
As 2024 comes to a close, I cannot help but reflect on how fortunate I feel to be back at Brandeis – a place that has felt like home to me since I was a student here in the late 1960s. A lot has changed since then, but the things I valued most remain – a world class faculty, a dynamic student body, and a compassionate staff dedicated to supporting both. Our commitment to excellence in education and a reverence for learning are stronger than ever as is our pledge to fight bigotry of any sort.
We have a tremendous opportunity to make Brandeis an even more formidable institution in the years ahead as we endeavor to lead the transformation of the liberal arts college in today’s global digital knowledge economy. I am so grateful for the chance to collaborate with this warm and welcoming community to find a new path forward for our beloved institution in this transformational time in higher education and will share more on how I think we can do that together in the New Year.
For now, please take the time to rest and reflect and rejoice over the winter break and enjoy this Year in Review video featuring the sights and sounds of our campus community.
May you and your loved ones have a happy, healthy, and peaceful holiday season and a truly wonderful New Year!
Sincerely,
Arthur Levine ’70
Interim President
