9/27 Free Expression Open Meeting

Dear Faculty, Staff, and Students,

This is a reminder about the open meeting tomorrow, Wednesday, September 27, to discuss the draft principles proposed by the Task Force on Free Expression. The meeting will be held from 4:30-5:45 p.m. in Sherman Function Hall.

The principles will guide how we engage one another as an academic community. You can read the principles as submitted by the Task Force at

If you are unable to attend Wednesday’s session, there will be two other open meetings to discuss the principles: on Monday, October 2, noon-1:15 p.m., in the Levin Ballroom; and Monday, October 30, 5:30-6:45 p.m., in the Intercultural Center. I hope many of you can participate in these discussions.
