Holiday Schedule and President's Discretionary Days

Dear Faculty and Staff,
To help everyone make their plans for the holiday season in December, I want you to know that I have approved the following four President’s Discretionary Days — Tuesday, December 26, through Friday, December 29 — to allow you additional time to spend with friends and family. This is in addition to the existing Christmas and New Year holidays of Monday, December 25, and Monday, January 1.
As in the past, departments that must remain open will inform any staff members who are required to work all or some of the days in the holiday schedule.
Employees should check with their supervisors regarding scheduling. Staff members who are required to work these holidays are entitled to take other days off. Please accept my thanks for modifying your schedule, if necessary.
Thank you for your many contributions to the university throughout the year. I wish the entire Brandeis community a healthy, happy holiday season.
