Thank you to Campus Operations

Dear Students, Faculty, and Staff,
I write today to offer thanks on behalf of all of us to members of the Facilities team who collectively did such a fine job of clearing the campus following two snowstorms in the last four days. It is easy for us to forget that while we may be enjoying a snow day or a delayed start, there are many grounds crew staff and custodians working, often all night, to enable Brandeis to reopen safely and quickly. Our police department also deserves thanks for being here in all weather conditions, and assisting community members with weather-related problems and emergencies.
A special thank you to all these people and to the leadership of their Campus Operations departments, notably Bob Avalle, Ed Callahan, and Joe Realejo. Thank you!
