Showcasing the Best of Brandeis

Dear Members of the Brandeis Community,

Our successful inaugural Alumni Weekend reminded me of what a remarkable institution this is — just take a look at the highlights video. In addition to celebrating reunions, Alumni Weekend recognizes the connections beyond class year that unite us as Brandeisians.

Last weekend’s activities embodied elements of Brandeis that are true sources of pride for us. From an inspiring discussion with Michael Rosbash about winning the Nobel Prize; to an engaging and timely conversation between Anita Hill and actor Tony Goldwyn ’82, who received the Alumni Achievement Award, which was covered by both The Boston Globe and CNN; to the TED-style talks hosted by the Alumni of Color Network, the programming spoke to the outstanding accomplishments, meaningful engagement with the world, and personal connections that make Brandeis a special place.

Whether you are a Brandeis graduate, parent, student, faculty or staff member, or friend, I encourage you to read the stories and watch the videos from Alumni Weekend. It showed our community at its best.

Sincerely,

Ron
