Staff Town Hall on the Framework
Nov. 21, 2019
Dear Staff Members,
I want to invite you to a special Staff Town Hall on Tuesday, December 3, at 10 a.m. in the Sherman Function Hall. I will be sharing an update on the Framework for the Future and asking for your feedback.
As you know, representatives from the entire Brandeis community have worked with me over the past year to develop a new strategic vision for the university, now captured in the Framework. This ambitious plan will lead our efforts to build upon our rich history, our values, and our renowned academic excellence to create a stronger Brandeis over the coming decades.
As we finalize the Framework, we continue to value input on the initiatives and goals we’ve put forward to achieve two major objectives: to fulfill the academic value proposition that makes Brandeis a leading liberal arts and research university, and to reengage with our founding ethos that promotes a reverence for learning, a commitment to justice, and adherence to tikkun olam, or the use of one’s intellectual and material gifts to repair the world.
I look forward to sharing the Framework with you, and hearing your ideas on how we can work together to create a new era for Brandeis.
Sincerely,
Ron
