Zamira Korff

Oct. 7, 2021

Dear Brandeis Faculty and Staff,

It is with a deep sense of appreciation that I have accepted the resignation of Senior Vice President for Institutional Advancement Zamira Korff. Zamira has been a key member of my leadership team for four years, developing important relationships, and building a fundraising organization worthy of Brandeis. She will be missed by all of us, and I hope you will join me in wishing her the best in all her future endeavors.

I am dedicated to ensuring that the university’s advancement division runs smoothly and is positioned for success – through this transition and into the future. I am very pleased to announce that after Zamira’s departure on October 15, Vice President for Development Hannah Peters will serve as Interim Senior Vice President. At the same time, we will immediately begin conducting a national search for a new Senior Vice President for Institutional Advancement. We will be seeking candidates with a proven track record of building philanthropic support who can further our strong achievements, provide leadership for the department, continue to develop the relationships we have with alumni and friends, and forge new relationships.

I know how hard the staff in Institutional Advancement work, and I want to assure them, along with all of you, that I will continue to devote a significant amount of my time to support all of our relationship building and fundraising efforts. While a change in administrative leadership is always challenging, I believe that, together, we can continue to advance and strengthen the position of the university and prepare for a major fundraising effort in the near future.

We will miss Zamira’s passionate commitment to the Brandeis mission, along with her leadership, talents, and abilities. Please join me in thanking her for all of her work for Brandeis.

Sincerely,

Ron Liebowitz
