An Opportunity to Hear from Ukrainian President Zelenskyy

Dear Members of the Brandeis Community,
As the ongoing conflict in Ukraine continues to unfold, I know many of you are paying close attention to developments there.
Tomorrow, on Monday, May 16, at 11:00 a.m. (ET), I have been invited to join other university presidents for a dialogue with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy. He will discuss how America’s leading research universities, Ukrainian officials, and educators can work together to help rebuild and transform his country’s decimated higher education sector. During his address, Zelenskyy will outline his vision for Ukraine and speak about the Ukrainian Global University, which brings together an international network of institutions to help displaced Ukrainian students and scholars continue their education and research.
The session is being hosted by the Association of American Universities. The Brandeis community can stream President Zelenskyy’s address live on YouTube. I encourage you to join if you can.
