Gateway Summer 2015 Program Welcome Week Schedule

Monday, June 29th

Move-In & Welcome Day

9:00am – 5:00pm: Check-In (Jay) and Move-In (Village Residence Hall – CAs; Airport pickups)

  • Distribute health insurance cards and Welcome Week schedule/documents at check-in
  • Health Center forms dropped off (Stoneman) Closes at 4 pm
  • Campus Card Office (Kutz Hall, Ground Floor) Closes at 4:15 pm

1:00 – 5:00pm: Cell Phones and Banks [Available in the Village Residence Hall]

5:00pm – 6:00pm: Dinner (Usdan: Vino, Mentors) 

6:00pm – 6:15pm: Gateway Welcome (Usdan: Vino)

6:30pm – 10:00pm: Shuttles to Target and Best Buy (Meet in the Village Residence Hall; Bus will pick students up in front of Spingold Theater) (with Gateway Liaison Leaders) ***Last return shuttle leaves at 9:15 pm*** DO NOT MISS THE BUS.

7:00pm – 10:00pm: Snacks in the Lounge [Village Residence Hall TV Lounge]

 

Tuesday, June 30th

Diagnostics: Oral Interviews; Academic Advising Appointments

8:00am – 8:45am: Breakfast (Usdan)

8:50am – 9:30am: Official Welcome (Shapiro Campus Center Multipurpose Room)

9:30am – 12:00pm: Round Robin 

  • Oral Interviews  (Rooms 314, 315, Art Gallery, and lounges: SCC)                      
  • Ice Breakers (Shapiro Campus Center Multipurpose Room: Core Committee & Gateway Liaison Leaders)
  • Campus Tours (Leave from Campus Center Atrium: Admissions Tour Guides)

12:00pm – 12:50pm: Lunch with Staff 

1:00pm – 1:30pm:  Academic Services: (SCC Multipurpose Room – Brian Koslowski)

1:30pm – 4:30pm: 

  • Academic Services Advising Appointments (Academic Services, Usdan Student Center, 2nd Floor)
