Welcome to Brandeis University Self-Service (BUSS)

We are pleased to introduce Phase II of our new service. Please read the following to find out more.

Who May Use BUSS?

If you are a regular Brandeis staff or faculty member, you now have access to BUSS.

Benefits

You may access and update your personal information at any time online in a confidential manner. You no longer need to complete forms to make these changes. BUSS eliminates time delays and the need for paper.

Services

  • Add or update home and mailing addresses, phone numbers and emergency contact information
  • Review other personal data (gender, date of birth, ethnicity) on file
  • Submit a request to change your name
  • Review your paycheck history on file in the Brandeis Human Resources Payroll database. Paycheck history dates back to May 2002.

Logging On and Off

  1. Open an Internet browser
  2. Click on http://buss.brandeis.edu or enter this URL into the address bar
  3. Enter your UNet ID and password. This is the same way you log on to your computer. Never share your password with anyone. 
  4. Click "Sign In" button
  5. To log off, click "Sign Out" button

Accessing BUSS from Off Campus

To access BUSS from off campus, point your browser to https://wormhole.brandeis.edu, log in with your UNet username and password and click on the BUSS link at the top under Web Bookmarks.

Questions or Problems?

If you can’t log on to your computer with your UNet ID and password, or if you forget your password, please call the LTS Help Desk at ext. 6-7782.

If you log on to your computer with your UNet ID and password, but can’t log onto the BUSS system, do one of the following:

  • Send an email with details to BUSS@lists.brandeis.edu
  • Call Human Resources' HRIS department at ext. 6-8411
  • Call Payroll at ext. 6-4477
