Jonah Kaplan and his wife, Laura, relocated from New York to Washington, D.C., where he works at the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB), a new federal agency created under the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act. He is part of CFPB’s consumer response group, which manages the organization’s direct consumer channel, enabling people to submit and resolve complaints directly with financial service companies via the web or phone. Josh helps build and manage relationships across the financial services sector, including both bank and nonbank institutions, as well as with other entities such as state offices (attorney general’s offices and the like) and association groups. Naomi Leeds is thrilled that Brandeis has reinstated the swimming and diving team, and renovated and reopened the Joseph M. Linsey Sports Center pool.
