Every ten years, Brandeis University is assessed for re-accreditation by The New England Association for Schools and Colleges (NEASC). Our last review in 2006 was very successful and identified important university goals and challenges. This Fifth-Year report is a time to provide updates about changes since 2006 and to address issues that the commission raised.
NEASC provides standards, eleven in all, that act as guidelines for our preparation of the short Fifth-Year report. Click here for a summary of these standards.
Over the course of this year, this report will be produced by administrators with feedback from the faculty and standing committees. The University Advisory Council has agreed to act as a steering committee for this process. It will be formally submitted to NEASC in the fall of 2011.
