Badminton Club schedules inaugural tournament

The Brandeis Badminton Club has organized Brandeis' first Badminton Tournament, which will take place Nov. 2 -11 from 9 to 11 p.m. at Gosman Sports Center.

The tournament consists of five events: Mens' Singles, Womens' Singles, Mens' Doubles, Womens' Doubles, and Mixed Doubles. Both the mens' singles and mens' doubles events are divided into intermediate and advanced groups to ensure fairness. Each player may sign up for a maximum of three events.

Equipment will be provided and participants must dress in a t-shirt, shorts, and sneakers for safety reasons.

Sign-ups must be submitted by October 31 to Kevin Xu, the club president. There is no registration fee and all students, faculty, and staff are welcome to participate.
