Summer applications available for BIMA, Genesis, Impact Boston

Temperatures may be dipping, but it’s never too soon to think about summer plans. Applications are now available for BIMA, Genesis, and Impact Boston, Brandeis University’s summer programs for high school students.

BIMA provides emerging artists with the opportunity to practice their craft daily and explore new disciplines, to receive personal mentoring from working artists, and to extend the boundaries of their artistic — and personal — expression. Learn more about who you are as an individual, artist, and Jew, and be a part of a deeply creative, collaborative community.

Genesis connects high school students with a passion for academic exploration with professionals who have dedicated their lives to the study and real-world practice of social entrepreneurship, religion, law, journalism, and technology. Explore new perspectives, develop and strengthen your voice, pursue your interests within a dynamic community and discover how Judaism informs the way you see and approach every part of your world.

Summer 2012 BIMA and Genesis program dates:

July 4 to Aug. 2

Apply to BIMA or Genesis

Impact Boston is a program offered in collaboration with BBYO, which gives high school students an immersive service learning experience focused on human relationships as the key to creating a better society. Work closely with people at a Boston area nonprofit and experience life through the eyes of individuals who are living with challenges, and meet people who will change your life and inspire you to make a real difference in your own community and beyond.

Summer 2012 dates:

Session 1: June 24 to July 5

Session 2: July 9 to July 20
