Global Affairs Table to consider Palestinian UN application

The Global Affairs Lunch Table will meet Monday, Oct. 24, for a discussion of the Palestinian Authority’s application to the United Nations to recognize a Palestinian state.

Speakers include Ashraf Hussein, a senior and holder of a Sylvia and Joseph Slifka Israeli Coexistence Scholarship; Chen Arad, a freshman and holder of a Malkin Israeli Endowed Scholarship; and Guive Mirfendereski, a lecturer in the Legal Studies Program, who will discuss international legal proceedings on the application.

The discussion will take place from noon to 2 p.m. in the Geller Lecture Hall, Hassenfeld Conference Center (Upper Sherman). Free box lunches will be provided. Numbers are limited, however, so RSVP online.
