Brandeis cited among 322 greenest colleges

Brandeis has been selected for inclusion in the Princeton Review’s Guide to 322 Green College: 2012 Edition. The on-line, downloadable guide is published in partnership with the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) and focuses on colleges that have demonstrated a notable commitment to sustainability.

Schools were chosen based on “Green Rating” scores tallied  and published in summer 2011.  The rating is a numerical score from 60 to 99 that is based on data from a 50-question survey of administrators about their schools’ environmental and sustainability-related commitments and initiatives.

Of 768 schools for which green ratings were tallied, the 322 schools in this guide received scores of 83 or higher. The Princeton Review does not rank the schools in this guide hierarchically (1 to 322) according to the scores or report those scores in the profiles in the guide.
