View the entire discussion from March 6, 2016 between University Professor Anita Hill and actor Kerry Washington

Ahead of the release of the HBO movie, “Confirmation,” University Professor Anita Hill sat down for a conversation at Brandeis with actor Kerry Washington, who portrays her in the film.

“Confirmation” tells the story of the Supreme Court confirmation hearings of Clarence Thomas, which riveted the nation and made Hill an icon for raising awareness of sexual harassment in the workplace.

The Brandeis Film, Television and Interactive Media Program and the Edie and Lew Wasserman Fund sponsored the hour-long conversation held Sunday, March 6, 2016 at Brandeis University’s Wasserman Cinematheque. Associate Professor of History Alice Kelikian moderated the discussion, which can be seen in full in the above video.

“Confirmation” premieres on HBO Saturday, April 16 at 8 p.m.
