Welcome to the Lifespan Lab! We are located in the Morris Brown Social Sciences building, room 117. Our research focuses on changes in personality and the self (e.g., perceived control, attributional style) and memory in adulthood and old age. We also conduct intervention research with a particular emphasis on the links between self-efficacy, control beliefs, memory, and physical activity (e.g., exercise). Other topics of interest are mid-life development and relationships between personality and health. Our research is supported by grants from the National Institute on Aging.
