Begli Nursahedov, MA
Begli Nursahedov is a research associate at the Steinhardt Social Research Institute and the Cohen Center for Modern Jewish Studies. He leads the Population Project's work in data screening and standardization of data across all of the independent sources of data included in the synthesis. In that capacity, he supervises a group of analysts and their work to compile a centralized dataset underlying the population estimate. Prior to joining the Center, Begli worked extensively with healthcare data at Eliza Corporation where he delivered analytics reports to top-tier healthcare providers nationwide.
Begli completed his BS in Economics at Middle East Technical University in Ankara, Turkey. He also holds an MA in International Economics and Finance from Brandeis International Business School. Begli is fluent in Russian, Turkish, and Turkmen.
