Every 10 years, Brandeis undergoes review of its accreditation by the New England Commission of Higher Education. This site serves to inform the Brandeis community about the process, progress and results of the reaccreditation process.
New England Commission of Higher Education (NECHE) provides standards — nine in all — that serve as guidelines for the information needed for the reaccreditation review. These nine standards guided preparation of our self-study document (UNET ID required).
The self-study process provides institutions with an opportunity to identify strengths, discuss challenges and articulate institutional priorities for the next five to 10 years.
Over the course of 18 months, Brandeis' self-study document was produced by faculty and administrators with feedback from the entire community.
