Meet the Brandeisians Behind the Festival
We are proud to collaborate with a diverse array of Brandeisian talent — from students and alumni to local community members who share our passion, creativity, and drive. Whether they’re leading projects, contributing ideas, or lending their support behind the scenes, the individuals we partner with embody the spirit of innovation and community that defines Brandeis.
Meet Our Collaborators
Club Status: Officially Chartered as of October 1st, 2023
Students for Environmental Action (SEA) is a passionate student-led organization at Brandeis University dedicated to addressing the climate crisis and promoting environmental justice. Our mission is to spread awareness, inspire action both on and off campus, and create opportunities for students to reconnect with nature.
Originally founded years ago, SEA has a long-standing legacy at Brandeis. Although the club temporarily disbanded in 2020, we relaunched in Fall 2022 with renewed energy and purpose. After a successful probationary period in Spring 2023, SEA regained its full chartered status on October 1st, 2023.
Their vision is to strengthen the Brandeis environmental community by building social networks through events, fostering collaboration between clubs and organizations, and working closely with the Environmental Studies department. From cleanups to climate
This year, we are proud to feature the work of Maya Mondlak - Reuveni, Emily Bial, Nicole Albright, Liza Heck, and Ofri Levinson.
During Brandeis’ Festival of the Arts, you won’t just attend arts events—you’ll encounter exhibitions, installations, and artwork all around, many of which are shaped by Creativity, Arts, and Social Transformation (CAST) students.
These student artists spend the semester diving deep into how creativity intersects with justice, identity, and community. Coming from diverse majors and backgrounds, CAST students work across disciplines to explore big questions through visual art, performance, storytelling, and collaboration.
We are proud to feature their work in spaces like the Shapiro Campus Center, Rapaporte Treasure Hall, Skyline Commons, and Fellows Garden.
On Thursday April 24, students Kelsey Lin & Efosa Ologbosere in collaboration with the Chesterbrook Community Foundation will isplay youth photography work in the Slosberg Lobby.
Kelsey Lin is a sophomore studying Computer Science and Business at Brandeis University. She was drawn to photography by its ability to convey personal emotions and perspectives in elementary school. Hence, she initiated this project to share the magic of photography with youth by offering them a space to capture the world through their own eyes and tell their stories through the lens.
Chesterbrook Community Foundation empowers the children and teens who live in the Chesterbrook Gardens public housing community in Waltham, Massachusetts by providing them with mentoring, academic support, and enrichment in structured after-school and evening programs. They cooperate with colleges nearby to provide the youth a community to grow and connect.
