Gifted Givers
Art as Community Care
While the 2020-21 academic year saw a return to campus for many students, staff and faculty, the arts community faced significant challenges. For the 2021 Festival, we invited the Brandeis community to create small works of art to give away to their fellow Brandeisians. Gifted Givers provided community members with the opportunity to express their creativity and generosity through connection and exchange. Nearly 60 community members created 463 gifts of pottery, paintings, jewelry, fiber art, music and poetry.
