Indoor Dining Hall Seating

Feb. 17, 2021

To the Brandeis community,

With reduced COVID rates within the community and on campus, and easing Massachusetts dining guidance, Brandeis has resumed limited indoor seating at the Sherman and Usdan dining halls and the Shapiro Campus Center.
Dining hall safety measures are similar to those this past fall semester, with one-way traffic flow and markers to indicate when tables and chairs have been disinfected between uses. Seats will be separated at least six feet apart. Please limit moving or rearranging chairs so that we can ensure adequate physical distancing while dining. Those who do not comply with the dining hall health and safety standards, or violate Brandeis’ health safety requirements, will be asked to leave the dining halls.
Throughout the spring semester, we will continue to evaluate and adjust indoor dining capacity as both public health conditions and local, state, and federal guidelines evolve. We also look forward to reinstalling the outdoor tents for outdoor dining when weather permits in mid- to late- March.
