The Division of Creative Arts is a community of artists and scholars from the departments of Fine Arts, Music, and Theater Arts as well as representatives from the interdisciplinary program in Creativity, the Arts, and Social Transformation. The Rose Art Museum is an affiliated member.

We share the belief that art is a vital aspect of the human condition and an essential component of interdisciplinary learning. By uniting creative expression with academic inquiry, we educate our students to create and/or appreciate artistic creativity and to become engaged citizens who are prepared to contribute to a multicultural society.
