Guest and Visitor Policy
The university is taking multiple preventative measures in accordance with guidance from local, state and federal health authorities to promote a safe community in the face of the evolving COVID-19 pandemic.
While Brandeis prides itself on its open campus, hospitality, and welcoming environment, we have enacted certain policies to protect the health and safety of the students, staff, and faculty that learn and work on our campus together during this unprecedented time.
At this time and until further notice, Brandeis University has a strict NO VISITOR policy.
However, we understand that in order to conduct critical and time sensitive activities in scholarship and creative work, or in campus and administrative operations, it may be neccessary for certain collaborators, contractors, former Brandeis community members including past students, employees, faculty members, or postdoctoral associates and fellows, and other affiliates to visit.
Visitor Exception Requests may be made to Provost Lisa Lynch for Academic Visitors or to Executive Vice President Stewart Uretsky for Campus and Administrative Visitors via the COVID-19 Campus Visitor Exception Request Form (PDF).
All visitors will be expected to comply with Brandeis University’s COVID-19 Campus Visitor Health and Safety Requirements, and must have on file with the designated campus host a signed COVID-19 Campus Visitor Agreement (PDF) and a COVID-19 Waiver of Liability (PDF). If traveling to Brandeis from out-of-state, visitors must provide documentation of compliance with the current Massachusetts COVID-19 Travel Order to the Designated Campus Host prior to arrival on the Brandeis campus.
Additionally, all companies, vendors, contractors, and suppliers who send their employees to campus must comply with the Brandeis University Procurement Department’s COVID-19 Response Notice.
