Testing Positive for COVID-19

Testing Positive on the Twice-a-week Asymptomatic Campus Test

Anyone testing positive on the twice-a-week asymptomatic tests administered on campus will be presumed positive. However, because of the small chance you may have received a false positive, you must take a second test to confirm the results.

The second “diagnostic” test uses the same technology as the asymptomatic tests but is administered by a health care provider (rather than being self-administered).

Students, faculty and staff must isolate until they receive a negative result on the second, diagnostic test. If you test positive on the diagonstic test, see Testing Positive for COVID-19.
