The Rhodes Scholarship
The Rhodes Scholarship is a fully funded, full time, graduate study scholarship at the University of Oxford. Scholarship recipients are chosen based on their academic excellence and leadership potential for any career they may choose. The program is funded for two years or more of graduate study of any discipline at Oxford.

Eligibility
For U.S. Citizens
- U.S. Citizen or permanent citizen
- Between 18 and 24 years old
- Completed undergraduate degree by the July before the start of the program
- Minimum 3.7 GPA
For Non-U.S. Citizens
- Apply through your home country/territory
- Apply for an Inter-Jurisdictional Consideration
- Between 18 and 24 years old.
- Completed undergraduate degree by July before the start of the program.

- National Deadline: Varies by country of application. Please check the Rhodes Scholarship website to see country/territory-specific deadlines. Deadlines can range from May to September, so you are encouraged to reach out to the Academic Fellowships Team early.
Award
- Covers Oxford University course fees
- Provides an annual stipend. For the 2022/23 academic year, the stipend is £17,310 per annum (£1,442.50 per month) from which Scholars pay all living expenses, including accommodation.
