The Schwarzman Scholars Program

The Schwarzman Scholars program is a fully funded, one-year master’s degree in Global Affairs program at Tsingua University in Beijing. Recipients gain hands-on knowledge and experience of Chinese culture and commerce, learn the Chinese language, collaborate with world-leading universities, and network with the next generation of leaders.

Eligibility 

  • Between 18 and 29 years old
  • Must hold an undergraduate degree before the start of the program
  • Demonstrate English language proficiency

Application Timeline

  • Priority Intent-to-Apply Deadline: May 31, 2024
  • Regular Intent-to-Apply Deadline: July 15, 2024
  • Campus Deadline: August 15, 2024
  • Campus Interviews: August 2024
  • National Deadline: TBD (mid/late September) 

Award

  • The Schwarzman Scholarship covers tuition and fees, room and board, in-country study tour, travel to and from Beijing, health insurance, and stipend for personal expenses while in the program.
