Brandeis International Business School

MSBA/MA Dual Degree

Program Description

The MSBA/MA dual degree is an intensive program that requires 77 credits over four to five semesters. This dual degree provides students with a unique blend of finance, economics and business analytics skills to pursue in-demand positions in careers including finance, consulting, data science and business analytics.

Students who enroll in the dual degree when admitted to the business school or during their first program are able to complete both degrees with a combined 77 credits, instead of the 105 credits required to earn each degree independently. Transfer credits may not be applied toward the required 77 credits needed for the degrees. Students must meet admissions requirements of both programs to be admitted to the dual degree program and complete the requirements of both programs to earn both degrees. Full requirements for the MSBA and MA degrees can be found on their program pages.

MSBA/MA students can earn a Data Analytics concentration in the MA program based on degree requirements. However, students may select an alternative concentration in the MA program.
