What were the highlights of your time at Brandeis?

Brandeis International Business School is a place where learning never stops. Whether it was collaborating on a marketing strategy, preparing a pitch for a startup competition, or refining ideas in late-night study sessions, every moment at Brandeis pushed me to think beyond theory and accumulate real-world business experiences. A major personal highlight was the Hassenfeld Immersion Program trip to India, where I witnessed firsthand how companies can make a global impact across industries. The connections I made on this trip helped me land a marketing internship back in the United States.

How would you describe the MBA program?

Dynamic! One moment you’re in class and deeply engaged in a case discussion, the next you’re at a networking event hosted by the Career Strategies and Engagement Center. Then you’re off to meet with your classmates to strategize for the upcoming Spark Program startup competition. In a few weeks, you’re off to India as a Hassenfeld fellow. Meanwhile, you have a call with your Career Coach to prepare for interviews, and by evening you’re sitting down for dinner with your MBA friends — people who share your open mindset and eagerness to learn but also bring completely different backgrounds and perspectives than your own. It’s a fast-paced and inspiring journey that constantly challenges you to grow.

How would you describe the community at the business school?

The community at Brandeis is incredibly international and diverse. With classmates from all over the world, I was constantly exposed to different perspectives, cultures and business approaches. It’s a collaborative and supportive environment that not only enriched my learning but also introduced me to lifelong friends. Before my MBA experience, I never would have imagined having friends from Albania, Nicaragua, Myanmar, China, Afghanistan, Haiti, India, Egypt and the United States. Even though we are now in different corners of the world, we stay connected — to support each other, share inspiration and offer advice. My global network is one of the most valuable things from my time at the International Business School.

What should prospective students know about the business school?

The International Business School is a place to find your voice, push past your fears and realize that you’re capable of way more than you think. My experience at Brandeis was nothing short of transformative. As a Peace Scholar from Ukraine, Brandeis became my support system and a source of hope — proving that even in an unstable world, I could build my future. My two years at Brandeis were filled with incredible moments: challenging classes, my first U.S. internships, exciting collaborations with my professors, the DeisHacks hackathon for social good and so much more. Each experience pushed me beyond my limits and shaped me into the professional I am today.
