We asked current students and recent graduates to share how they spend a typical day at Brandeis International Business School

7 A.M. 

My day starts with a cup of coffee. It’s my daily ritual to wake up my mind and prepare for the tasks ahead.

8 A.M. 

I like to kickstart my morning with some coding practice. Practice makes perfect!

9 A.M. 

Walk to campus for Investment and Portfolio Management class, which is one of my favorite subjects.

11 A.M. 

I meet with my academic advisor. We discuss my academic progress and course selection, ensuring I’m on track with my learning goals.

2 P.M.

Field project meeting! I’m working on a project with Fidelity to analyze investment portfolios with large language models. It’s an exciting opportunity to apply what I’m learning to real-world scenarios and gain hands-on experience.

3:30 P.M.

I participate in a virtual Business, Consulting and Finance career fair. This event allows me to network with industry professionals and explore potential career opportunities.

7 P.M.

I head to the weekly Graduate Student Association board meeting. As the group’s director of treasury and organizations, I’m responsible for overseeing the budget and ensuring everything is running smoothly.

9 P.M.

Finally, the day winds down as I wrap up all my tasks.
