ITS offers the ZOOM web-conferencing platform to help you communicate and collaborate with colleagues and peers across campus or across the world. Web conferencing allows people to meet in virtual meeting rooms, reducing the cost and hassle of travel.

How do I get an account? 

This service is open to the entire Brandeis community. To obtain a personal meeting room, visit brandeis.zoom.us. Log in with your Unet credentials and you will automatically be assigned a personal meeting room.  For help getting started, please email webconferencing@brandeis.edu.

What equipment do I need?

Web conferencing requires a webcam and a microphone or telephone (most webcams include an internal microphone). Your laptop or desktop monitor may already have a webcam and microphone built-in. Webcams are available for loan from Media Technology Services or feel free to reach out to us for recommendations on equipment purchasing by emailing webconferencing@brandeis.edu.
