Tools for Writing (Notes, Manuscripts, Citations)
Finding the perfect writing tool requires you to reflect on your own writing process. Besides the technical specs, think about how you write and the current frustrations you experience when looking through your manuscripts. Find out how these issues are addressed via different digital tools (maybe one not listed below!). It might take some time and experimentation for you to discover the ideal setup.
In our session, we focused largely on note-taking in Evernote and Pages. Scrivener is another great option (both for note-taking and long-form writing), albeit with a steeper learning curve.
