Michael Freemark is the Atkins Professor of Pediatrics and chief of the Division of Pediatric Endocrinology and Diabetes at Duke University Medical Center. He recently published a textbook, “Pediatric Obesity: Etiology, Pathogenesis and Treatment,” and continues basic research in the fields of maternal metabolism and gestational diabetes. His wife, Anne Slifkin ’73, is a plaintiff’s attorney who has devoted time recently to mediation. Their daughter, Samara, is a producer at Radio Diaries (you may have heard her stories on National Public Radio and “This American Life”). Their son, Yonah, is a graduate student in city and regional planning and transportation engineering at MIT and blogs at www.thetransportpolitic.comJeanine Delongchamp was named project architect at Spagnolo Gisness & Associates in Boston.
